But Mona never wavered and kept intent on us finding the right home for us. She truly had our needs and hopes at the core of her work, not trying to close the sale as soon as possible for her. Sometimes, we would even want to make an offer because we were so drained out with all this chaotic searching, but she would question whether that was really the home we wanted and recommended that we kept on searching. Again, she was so right and caring about our long-term satisfaction with our new home. When we finally found the perfect home, Mona showed off all her chops as a masterful buyers' agent. We found ourselves in what could have become an ugly bidding war, but she was able to reason the sellers' agent into accepting our first and final counter without further overbidding escalation, by pleading the human side of the deal and not just the dollars and cents up and up. Thank you so much, Mona! We are happy as clams in this amazing new and permanent home for the rest of our lives! Before I finish this review, I also want to say that once the sale was closed, Mona has still been checking in with us on many occasions to see if there was anything more we might want any help with. That is what I call FULL customer service, beyond the call of duty. This is planned to be our last home forever, but if we had to sell it at some point, or wanted to buy another home in the East Bay, no doubt we'd be calling on Mona and the team again.
